Position Overview

Title: Senior Technical Lead

Reports to: Chief of Party

Contract Type: Fixed-Term Employment Contract

Location: Abidjan or Jacqueville, Côte d'Ivoire

Purpose of the Role

The Senior Technical Lead provides overall technical leadership and strategic direction for Component 2 of the Adaptation Fund project "Improved Resilience of Coastal Communities in Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana." The position ensures that Habitat for Humanity's climate adaptation interventions are coherent, technically sound, and fully aligned with project objectives, donor requirements, and HFHI standards.

Key Responsibilities

The role oversees the design, integration, and implementation of a broad portfolio of climate adaptation measures across 21 coastal communities, including:

• Community-based early warning systems
• Preparedness and awareness activities
• Green and blue infrastructure
• Nature-based solutions (NbS)
• Mangrove restoration
• Climate-resilient agriculture and livelihoods

The Lead ensures that these interventions are technically harmonized across both countries.
