Site Engineer ( Civil Work – Ftth – Telecom)

About the Company

HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES COTE D'IVOIRE SAU is recruiting a Site Engineer for its operations in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.

Job Responsibilities

The Site Engineer is the owner of the managed site and is responsible for site delivery progress, site environment (materials and quality), and work safety. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate, organize, and manage onsite activities to ensure completeness and timeliness of site installation
• Manage site progress and construction process, ensuring subcontractors implement construction according to requirements
• Monitor site quality through checks and inspections of civil works, iron towers, equipment rooms, auxiliary equipment, and main equipment installation
• Manage site acceptance by organizing customer and supplier participation in site acceptance procedures
• Collect site documents, review and standardize site completion and acceptance documentation, and submit to the project team's document administrator
• Optimize site construction processes and procedures by training and guiding subcontractor teams on standard construction practices
• Assist the Project Manager in managing site-level affairs

Required Qualifications

• Familiarity with FTTH, Civil Works, and Telecom equipment
• Knowledge of onsite installation processes with clear understanding of KCPs and technical difficulties
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documents
• Fluent spoken and written English (required)
