About the Position
GFA Consulting Group seeks a motivated team leader to oversee advisory packages and capacity development initiatives within a public procurement improvement project in Côte d'Ivoire.
Project Context
The project aims to improve service delivery of public procurement agencies in Côte d'Ivoire and enhance institutional capacities for SME participation in the economy. The initiative promotes fair competition and strengthens relevant agencies' capabilities.
Duration: 515 working days over 28 months (December 2021 – March 2024)
Location: Côte d'Ivoire
Key Responsibilities
- Assume overall responsibility for the contractor's advisory packages
- Ensure coherence and complementarity of services with other project initiatives at local and national levels
- Design, implement, monitor, and evaluate capacity development measures for local partners in procurement and SME development
- Integrate cross-cutting themes such as gender equality into all activities
- Manage staff by identifying short-term assignment needs, planning assignments, and supporting local and international experts
- Oversee implementation of monitoring procedures
- Prepare regular reports according to established deadlines
- Verify proper use of funds and manage financial planning in coordination with the project officer
- Support the project officer in updating project strategy, conducting evaluations, and preparing follow-on phases
- Maintain contact and coordination with other donors
Required Qualifications
- University degree (bachelor's or master's) in social sciences, business, economics, or comparable field
- Fluent knowledge of French
