GFA Consulting Group is recruiting a motivated professional for this leadership position in Côte d'Ivoire.

Project Overview

The project aims to improve the delivery of services by public procurement agencies in Côte d'Ivoire. It addresses the capacities of institutions that are particularly important for the participation of SMEs in the economy and seeks to improve service delivery of relevant agencies for the promotion of fair competition.

Project Duration: 515 working days over 28 months (December 2021 - March 2024)

Location: Côte d'Ivoire

Position Overview

As Team Leader, you will hold overall responsibility for the advisory packages and ensure coherence and complementarity of services delivered by the contractor with other project services at local and national levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, monitor, and evaluate capacity development measures for local partners in procurement and SME development
• Integrate cross-cutting themes including gender equality into all activities
• Manage staff, including identifying needs for short-term assignments, planning and managing assignments, and supporting local and international experts
• Ensure monitoring procedures are carried out according to standards
• Prepare regular reports in accordance with established deadlines
• Check use of funds and manage financial planning in consultation with the responsible officer
• Support updates and adaptations to project strategy, evaluations, and preparation of follow-on phases
• Maintain contact with other donors

Required Qualifications

• Education: University degree (bachelor's or master's) in social sciences, business, economics, or comparable field
• Languages: Knowledge of French required
