Position Overview

The Governing Council of Christ Apostolic University College (CAUC) invites applications from qualified and competent persons for the position of Vice President.

The Vice President serves under the direction of the University Council as the Academic and Administrative head, as well as the Chief Disciplinary Officer of the University College. This role is responsible for maintaining and promoting the good order and efficiency of the institution. Additional functions are prescribed by the Statutes of the University College and are directed by the President.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Academic and Administrative head of the University College
• Serve as Chief Disciplinary Officer
• Maintain and promote the good order and efficiency of the institution
• Foster and promote good internal and external relations
• Project the image of the University College nationally and internationally
• Provide strong, visionary leadership and innovation

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Professorial rank or Senior Lecturer with a PhD
• Extensive research and administrative leadership experience
• Experience in university governance
• Individual of stature and integrity with exemplary leadership qualities
• Clear understanding and appreciation of challenges facing private tertiary education in Ghana

• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to foster and promote good internal and external relations
• Ability to project effectively the image of the institution nationally and internationally
