Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, automation, security, and optimization of our AWS-based infrastructure — ensuring PCI-DSS readiness, resilience, and cost-efficiency as transaction volumes scale.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

• Own end-to-end AWS infrastructure — provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and optimization using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Ensure 100% automated deployment coverage for infrastructure resources
• Maintain >95% environment consistency (zero drift) across dev, staging, and production environments
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, targeting >85% pipeline reliability with no DevOps-related failures

Security, Compliance & Risk Management

• Lead infrastructure security posture for PCI-DSS Level 1, ISO 27001:2022, and data protection standards
• Ensure 100% of critical vulnerabilities are remediated within 14 days and high vulnerabilities within 30 days
• Conduct quarterly reviews of AWS IAM access policies, enforcing least-privilege and Just-in-Time (JIT) access
• Embed security into pipelines (SAST/DAST/IaC scanning), secrets management, and encryption at-rest and in-transit

Scalability, Reliability & Cost Optimization

• Architect and tune ECS/Fargate services with dynamic autoscaling to handle traffic spikes
• Optimize cloud costs through right-sizing, reserved instances, spot strategies, and open-source/self-hosted tooling
