Programme Officer at ActionAid Ghana (AAG)

About the Role

ActionAid Ghana (AAG), an Affiliate of ActionAid, is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Programme Officer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in deepening partners' and communities' understanding of our Country Strategy Paper (CSP) operationalization and strengthening our impact across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Deepen partners' and communities' understanding and appreciation of the Country Strategy Paper (CSP) operationalization
• Build and sustain partnership and networking relationships with key stakeholders to influence policies and practices
• Strengthen the capacity of rights holder organisations to engage government and local authorities on regional mission objectives
• Monitor partners' programmes and relationships to ensure compliance with ActionAid quality programming standards and financial management procedures
• Conduct regular visits to rights holders and their communities
• Document identified changes and submit reports on activities undertaken to meet CSP objectives

Required Qualifications & Experience

• First degree in a relevant field
• Minimum two (2) years of working experience

Employment Details

• Contract Type: Full-time, three (3) year renewable contract on national terms and conditions
• Salary: SM2 of ActionAid Ghana's Salary Structure
• Location: Wa, Upper West Region, Ghana
