Position Overview

This is a full-time academic leadership role requiring demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, and innovation within your field of specialization.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching and curriculum development
• Conducting research and innovation in your field
• Technology adaptation and knowledge transfer
• Setting, marking, and invigilation of assignments and examinations
• Supervision of student project work, dissertations, and theses
• Providing academic counseling and mentoring to students and junior colleagues
• Supervising student internships and industry visits
• Publication of academic work
• Extension work and service to the university and nation
• Administrative support to the department
• Other duties as assigned by the Vice-Chancellor or representative

Required Qualifications & Experience

Candidates must meet all of the following criteria:

• Hold a PhD in the relevant field of specialization
• Have been appointed as Professor in the relevant discipline in an accredited tertiary institution in Ghana or elsewhere
• Be nationally and internationally acknowledged as a teacher, scholar, and innovator in your field
• Demonstrate significant contribution to academic and industrial innovations
• Show evidence of contribution to the intellectual and professional reputation of your institution
• Demonstrate capacity for continuous research and dissemination of knowledge through technology transfer and publication
