About the Position

Pentecost University is seeking to appoint a Chair or Associate Chair (Professor / Associate Professor) in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering or Digital Systems Simulation to join their vibrant research group in their international digital centre.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and supervise PhD research students and research Fellows in the Lifecycle engineering of manufacturing processes
• Co-supervise internal and external PhD researchers and Research Fellows
• Lead and direct the research agenda in innovative manufacturing technologies
• Present Research Group findings to the European Commission and international stakeholders
• Travel internationally for meetings and conferences
• Provide technical project leadership

Required Qualifications

• PhD in a related area
• Postdoctoral experience as Senior Lecturer, Senior Research Fellow, or Professor

Desirable Experience and Attributes

• Distinguished knowledge in advanced or Digital systems simulation
• Skills in Lifecycle modelling
• Demonstrated experience in leading research
• Technical project leadership experience
• International project management experience
• Publication record in the field
• Proficiency in modelling software (Delmia, APRIORI, and other Lifecycle analysis tools)
• Knowledge in software creation and integration of engineering software applications
• Excellent grant writing skills
• Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills
• Flexible approach to work including weekends
