Officer, Research Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation at Reputable Company

Job Purpose

To provide operational support in research for the achievement of the organization's mandate.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Undertake the collation of data for analysis
• Supervise research data entry activities
• Undertake fieldwork activities on research
• Facilitate the dissemination of research reports
• Undertake the preparation of draft data collection instruments
• Collect data for the development of performance indicators for monitoring
• Supervise the collection of data for the preparation of strategic, medium-term, and annual plans of the organization
• Undertake fieldwork activities on monitoring
• Collate data for preparation of draft monitoring and evaluation reports
• Facilitate the dissemination of monitoring and evaluation reports
• Supervise the collection of data for the preparation of guidelines, procedures, and processes in the implementation of programmes and activities of the unit
• Undertake accurate updates of the database on the programmes and activities of the unit
• Supervise data entry on the programmes and activities of the unit
• Supervise the collection of data for the preparation of annual work plans of the unit
• Collect data for the preparation of the unit's budget

Qualifications and Experience Required

• A minimum of a Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Science, or any related field from an accredited tertiary institution
• A minimum of 1 year of post-qualification relevant work experience in a reputable institution
• Must pass a competitive selection interview
