Marketing and Communications Manager at Brac Ghana Savings and Loan LTD

About the Position

Brac Ghana Savings and Loan LTD is seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to oversee all internal and external marketing and communication activities of the institution.

Purpose

The Marketing and Communications Manager will develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies to enhance the organization's visibility, positioning, and internal culture while supporting advocacy initiatives and brand consistency.

Major Responsibilities

Communications and Marketing (70%)

• Develop and implement flexible, result-oriented communications strategies for both internal and external communications
• Generate ideas and create engaging content for social media and digital channels that is easily understandable and resonates with target audiences
• Write and edit programme participant and client stories, video scripts, blogs, case studies, factsheets, capacity statements, and annual reports
• Monitor the BGSL website and sections regularly to identify information requiring updates and collaborate with the BI Microfinance Communications team
• Develop and implement media strategies to enhance BGSL's positioning within local media channels
• Conceptualize and organize special events for BGSL to support advocacy initiatives and reach core audiences
• Provide creative planning and execution support for social and behavior change materials in coordination with internal and external design teams, product, impact, and social performance experts
• Support internal communications by collaborating with cross-functional departments to execute campaigns that boost employee morale, loyalty, and organizational culture
• Identify media and campaign opportunities and collaborate with the wider BRAC international communications team to improve overall outreach and visibility efforts while ensuring brand consistency
