Lifeguard at University of Ghana

Position Overview

The University of Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Lifeguard in the Sports Directorate.

Key Responsibilities

• Guard the safety of clients in and around the University of Ghana Swimming pool
• Prevent accidents at the pool and respond to emergencies with immediate rescue procedures
• Administer CPR in emergency situations
• Ensure proper operating conditions of all lifeguarding equipment
• Maintain discipline and order at the swimming pool
• Uphold high standards of professional conduct and good behaviour
• Ensure all individuals follow pool protocols, processes, and procedures

Required Qualifications and Experience

• SSCE/WASSCE/JHS Certificate
• Valid Lifeguard Certificate from a recognised institution
• Minimum of 2 years working experience as a lifeguard
