Koforidua Technical University was established by an Act of Parliament, Act 922 (2016) and amended by Act 974 (2018). Position Overview

The Librarian is the head of the University Library and reports directly to the Vice-Chancellor. This is a full-time position based in Koforidua, Ghana.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide adequate and current information resources to support teaching, learning, and research at the University
• Manage the Library Department and its operations
• Perform all functions as prescribed by the Statutes of the University

Required Qualifications

• Postgraduate research degree (MPhil) in Library or Information Science or related studies (required)
• PhD in Library or Information Science (advantageous)
• Minimum ten (10) years of post-qualification professional experience
