Position Overview
FAWE Ghana is seeking to recruit a high-caliber, results-oriented individual with integrity to join our dynamic professional team as a Human Resource/Safeguarding Officer. This is a full-time contract position based in Accra, Ghana, West Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment and onboarding processes
- Oversee employee training and development
- Manage employee lifecycle and benefits administration
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations
- Handle employee grievances and disputes
- Implement safeguarding policies and procedures to protect vulnerable individuals from harm or abuse within FAWE Ghana and its related partners and networks
- Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment
- Work collaboratively with team members, external stakeholders, and young people
- Perform duties outside the usual scope as required
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Familiarity with human resource and safeguarding roles within NGO environments
- Proven experience in employee welfare and safety management
- Knowledge of labour laws and compliance requirements
- Experience implementing safeguarding policies and procedures

Reporting Structure
This position is located within the Programmes and Administration Unit and reports to the Programmes Manager.
