Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Implementation and monitoring of human resource policies, systems and procedures in line with applicable rules and regulations
• Maintenance and update of employee records and generation of reports to facilitate decision making and compensation management
• Implementation and coordination of job documentation and employee recruitment, placement and orientation processes
• Facilitation of employee promotion, transfer, retirement and benefits payment
• Maintenance and update of market remuneration survey to form the basis for developing and/or reviewing compensation policy
• Implementation and coordination of performance management system and employee appraisal cycle
• Coordination and monitoring of training assessment, clerical, transport, janitorial and security services

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Bachelor's Degree
• MBA, MSc, or MA in Human Resource Management or relevant discipline
• Member of a Human Resource Professional body
• 6 years of relevant human resources practice experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge and understanding of labour and compensation-related legislations
• Knowledge and understanding of collective agreements and conditions of service
• Application of performance management and compensation systems and tools
• Knowledge and application of recruitment, placement and induction approaches and practices
• Understanding of compensation and reward management systems
• Application of training needs analysis, planning and delivery tools
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
• Conflict resolution abilities
