Position Overview

We invite applications from highly motivated and suitably qualified Health, Safety & Environmental Officers to join the Safety Department. This is a full-time position based in Takoradi, Ghana.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all safety policies and practices align with Mantrac Group's safety vision and principles
• Develop and implement HSE plans
• Complete reports on incidents, risks, and safety performance
• Develop, monitor, and continuously improve health, safety, and environment procedures for all operations
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all operations
• Develop Standard Task Procedures (STP) for all operations
• Review safe working procedures as needed
• Maintain up-to-date records of all health, safety, and environmental issues
• Conduct periodic and spontaneous planned inspections of all work areas
• Promote awareness of health, safety, and environmental issues
• Investigate and report all accidents and incidents
• Ensure staff attend and complete all mandatory health and safety courses
• Facilitate health and safety meetings and training courses for employees
• Implement live work elimination strategies on all operations
• Complete monthly HSE reports
• Complete monthly HSE and contamination control audits
