## Title: Head of Legal

About the Role

A reputable financial institution is seeking a qualified, dynamic, and results-oriented legal professional to join its growing team. The successful candidate will contribute to the institution's mission of providing exceptional financial services and strengthening operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all legal affairs of the institution and ensure compliance with laws and regulations
Draft, review, and approve contracts, agreements, and legal documents
Advise management and the board on legal risks and corporate governance
Represent the company in legal proceedings and liaise with external counsel
Develop and implement legal policies and frameworks

Required Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB/LLM)
10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the financial sector
5+ years in a Senior Management role
Strong knowledge of financial, corporate, and regulatory laws
Excellent analytical, advisory, and communication skills

Location

Accra, Tamale, Koforidua, Kumasi, Takoradi, Techiman, Wa, Bolgatanga, Ho, or Sunyani, Ghana
