Director, Human Capital & General Services at KPMG Ghana

Role Summary

The Director of Human Capital and General Services leads the human resource, IT, and general services function of the organization. This role is responsible for formulating and implementing best practice policies, procedures, and programs while promoting operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide guidance and counsel on matters relating to HR, IT, and administration services; develop strategies aligned with business needs and the organization's strategic direction
• Develop a strategic human capital plan for talent acquisition, development, utilization, motivation, and retention aligned with corporate strategy and objectives
• Champion recruitment strategies and plans to identify, select, hire, and retain top talent to meet organizational manpower needs and ensure optimal staffing levels
• Establish a human resource policy and procedures manual and ensure proper implementation and regular review
• Demonstrate ownership of the HR department's strategic direction and objectives; communicate these clearly to all staff to ensure mutual understanding of roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities
• Ensure formulation and implementation of an effective, objective, equitable, transparent, and merit-driven performance management system
• Design and implement need-based, cost-effective learning and development strategies to support business goals and improve organizational performance
• Oversee development, implementation, and administration of remuneration and reward policies and practices that balance employee satisfaction and well-being with organizational resources
