About the Organization

A reputable public service organization is seeking eligible individuals for the following position.

Job Purpose

To provide technical and operational support in standards and compliance for the achievement of the organization's mandate.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide input for the formulation of organizational policies
• Supervise the development and review of standards, guidelines, processes, and procedures for licensing and registration
• Oversee the development of a comprehensive database on the programs and activities of the department
• Conduct field inspections of teacher training facilities and service providers
• Collaborate with officers, departments, and other stakeholders in implementing departmental programs and activities
• Supervise the development of annual work plans for the department
• Oversee the preparation of departmental budgets
• Supervise the preparation of annual and other periodic reports
• Supervise and appraise the performance of subordinate staff

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Master's Degree in Education or a related field from an accredited tertiary institution
• Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification relevant work experience
• Minimum of 4 years in a senior management position in a reputable institution
• Must pass a competitive selection interview

Required Competencies

• Excellent leadership, networking, monitoring, and management skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Extensive knowledge and experience in managing training programs
