Position Overview

AGROPAL West Africa Limited is a growing organization on a mission to empower every actor in the agricultural value chain. We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our Production Department in Ho, Ghana.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with quality policy, procedures, work instructions, and documented quality and food safety systems
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Ensure resources and inputs needed for work are readily available
• Ensure daily departmental targets are met and delivered on time
• Verify that raw materials received for processing are of the correct quality and quantity
• Ensure raw fruits delivered are stored properly in their designated areas
• Monitor stock levels and utilize first-in, first-out (FIFO) or last-in, first-out (LIFO) methods to prevent fruit spoilage
• Maintain housekeeping and hygiene standards
• Ensure prompt start of daily work in each department
• Provide continuous training and coaching to workers and review their performance
• Implement disciplinary procedures at workstations as needed
• Manage and control dryer operations
• Ensure dried products meet specified standards
• Initiate and coordinate inventory of finished goods warehouse
• Report immediately any equipment breakage, damage, or malfunction to the Production Manager
• Manage and maintain all production tools and equipment in the factory
• Ensure effective cleaning of all production equipment, dryers, and factory premises
• Maintain organized and accessible records for analysis and reference
