About the Position

Kintampoo Rural Bank Limited is seeking qualified professionals to fill the position of Agency Account Officer/Clerk.

Job Summary

The Agency Account Officer/Clerk will support daily banking activities through direct customer interaction and behind-the-scenes tasks such as data entry. You will maintain important customer and financial records to ensure the Agency operates efficiently and complies with reporting and financial management laws and guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Agency Head in coordinating operational activities of the Agency
• Capture data of daily transactions into the T24 system
• Conduct account opening for prospective customers
• Ensure timely and proper update of the General Ledger, books of accounts, and various control registers
• Assist the Agency Manager in preparation of Returns and Management reports
• Ensure proper daily calling-over of all transactions
• Handle customer enquiries and manage customer complaints
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Agency Manager

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Minimum HND in Banking, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in branch/agency operations and customer service
• Proficiency in T24 core banking application
• Sound understanding of accounting and banking principles, processes, and controls
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent command of English language, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
