About the Position

HEAF Professional College seeks a Full-time Administrative Officer to support its professional programmes. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in French and English and based in Teshie, Ghana.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative and Academic Support

• Coordinate and manage day-to-day administrative operations of the college
• Prepare, translate, and distribute documents in both English and French (memos, academic calendars, notices)
• Assist in the registration and enrollment process for Francophone students learning English
• Maintain accurate records of student data, academic progress, and correspondence
• Liaise with faculty and support staff to ensure smooth delivery of academic programs

Student Services and Support

• Serve as the primary contact for Francophone students needing support in understanding English documents or navigating academic requirements
• Provide bilingual orientation and onboarding sessions for new students
• Offer guidance on college policies, procedures, and academic expectations
• Support students in resolving administrative issues and accessing resources

Communication and Translation

• Translate internal and external communications between English and French as needed
• Draft bilingual promotional content, emails, newsletters, and announcements
• Ensure all communication materials are culturally and linguistically appropriate

Social Media and Marketing

• Use social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter) to promote the college and its English programs to Francophone audiences
• Design and schedule posts that highlight student success stories and upcoming events
