Koforidua Technical University was established by an Act of Parliament, Act 922 (2016) and amended by Act 974 (2018). The University is committed to providing standard science and technology education, serving as a center of excellence in applied research, and offering solutions to community problems.

Position Overview

The Governing Council of Koforidua Technical University invites applications from qualified and competent persons for the position of Vice-Chancellor, effective 1st October, 2023.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the academic and administrative head of the University
• Act as the Chief Executive Officer and chief disciplinary officer
• Organize and conduct the academic, financial, and administrative business of the University
• Report to Council for overall university operations and efficiency
• Execute all functions as prescribed by the Statutes of the University

Required Qualifications

• Professorial Status
• Internationally acclaimed academic credentials and/or distinguished scholarship record
