Transport Coordinator at Graphic Communications Group LTD

About the Role

Graphic Communications Group LTD is seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to manage fleet operations and ensure efficient vehicle scheduling and maintenance. This is a full-time position based in Accra, Ghana.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance of the company fleet
• Plan, implement, and control vehicle scheduling for assignments, maintenance, and repairs
• Optimize driver-to-route assignments to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
• Liaise between the company and external vehicle service providers
• Manage the vehicle maintenance program and workshop operations to maximize vehicle availability
• Maintain inventory control of workshop parts and equipment
• Keep comprehensive records of all vehicles from acquisition through decommissioning
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports
• Monitor vehicle operating costs to ensure they remain within budget
• Develop and maintain driver duty rosters

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum HND (Higher National Diploma) in Transport Management or related field
• At least 5 years of experience managing a large vehicle fleet
• Valid driving license (D1, D2, or D3)

• Comprehensive knowledge of motor traffic regulations in Ghana
• Strong attention to detail
• Team leadership and supervisory abilities
• Flexibility regarding work arrangements
• Advanced computer literacy skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
