Position Overview
The Human Resource Officer will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department. This role encompasses hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct routine HR department functions
- Conduct hiring and staff interviews
- Administer employee pay, benefits, and leave
- Enforce company policies and practices
- Manage and discipline workforce
Required Qualifications
- First Degree (BSc/BA in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or relevant field)
- Minimum 3 years proven experience in HR
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Fluency in English
Required Skills
- Leadership and workforce management abilities
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Strong multitasking capabilities
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office
- HRIS systems experience (preferred)
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing a workforce
- Restaurant industry work experience
