Job Summary

You will prepare lesson plans, assess student performance, and create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement. As the Teacher/Senior Teacher (ICT), you will be responsible for teaching the fundamentals of computer hardware, software, and programming languages while staying current with the latest IT trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and create class schemes, syllabi, and supplementary materials that teach the fundamentals of computer hardware, software, and programming languages
• Plan lessons according to curriculum standards and adapt them to correspond with students' ability levels
• Facilitate class activities and provide constructive feedback to students about their work and progress
• Grade assignments, assess student progress, and maintain records of pupils' progress and development in keeping with National Curriculum standards
• Prepare, plan, and effectively deliver lessons to classes of different ages and abilities
• Research new topic areas, maintain up-to-date subject knowledge, and devise new curriculum materials, including termly schemes of work and medium-term plans
• Select and use a range of different learning resources and ICT equipment, including internet resources
• Serve as patron to the robotics club
• Stay abreast of the latest IT trends and developments
