About the Role

A unique career opportunity is available for the right candidate to play a lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing out projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate people and processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, objectives, scopes, and schedules involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
• Provide overall guidance on estimation of cost, time, and resources required for seamless execution of onshore and mining-related projects
• Coordinate the preparation of tender documents and technical proposals
• Lead the development of estimates in response to RFQs/RFPs, sales, and pre-construction scopes
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of onshore projects
• Prepare work packs, method statements, and procedures
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
• Identify, develop, and initiate innovations and solutions where precedents and procedures may not exist

Required Qualifications

• BSc or equivalent in an Engineering discipline or related field from a recognised university
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of working experience
• Professional project management certification (added advantage)
• Working knowledge of engineering and project management software (preferred)

• Superior collaboration skills and techniques that appropriately define alternate solutions, resolve conflicts, and create lasting, productive partnerships with clients
