Job Summary
The successful candidate will join as a Team Lead for SME South in the AirtelTigo Business Department. Reporting to the Sales Manager, SME South, you will provide sales leadership, develop sales plans, and deliver shareholder value through meeting operational targets for revenues, profitability, and customer satisfaction in the SME space in the southern region.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive daily gross adds acquisition for the SME South segment
- Manage a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) to achieve set targets
- Recruit and train sales agents to meet and exceed sales targets
- Manage performance and development of BDMs
- Manage presale engagements with customers
- Manage after-sale engagements and customer satisfaction
- Organize assigned sales campaigns and initiatives
- Develop route plans and key initiatives to achieve revenue and gross add targets
- Receive, manage, and allocate all stock assigned to the team
- Engage developers in the real estate market for deployment of fixed data and home broadband products
- Contribute to thought leadership across Enterprise Business and customer organizations
Required Qualifications and Experience
- University degree in any field with emphasis on Business Management, Economics, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of sales or account management experience in an enterprise solutions environment (preferably in telecommunications)
- Experience in Business Solution sales, with telecommunications experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to contribute strategic insights to Enterprise Business and customer organizations
