Job Summary
The successful candidate will join as a Team Lead for SME South in the AirtelTigo Business Department. Reporting to the Sales Manager, SME South, you will provide sales leadership and develop sales plans to deliver shareholder value through meeting operational targets for revenues, profitability, and customer satisfaction in the SME space in the south.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive daily gross adds acquisition for the team
- Manage a group of Team BDMs to achieve set targets
- Recruit and train sales agents to achieve sales targets
- Manage performance and development of BDMs
- Manage presale engagements with customers
- Manage after-sale engagements with customers
- Organize assigned sales storms
- Develop route plans and key initiatives to achieve both revenue and gross add targets
- Receive and manage all stock assigned to the team
- Engage developers in the real estate market for deployment of fixed data and home broadband products
Qualifications & Experience
- University degree in any field with emphasis on Business Management, Economics, or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years' experience in sales or account management in an enterprise solutions environment (preferably in Telecoms)
- Business solutions sales and telecommunications experience preferred
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to contribute to thought leadership throughout Enterprise Business and customer organizations
