## Title: Senior Training Officer

About the Organization

GRATIS Foundation is an agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MOTI), committed to developing skilled professionals in technical trades.

Position Overview

We are inviting qualified Ghanaians to join our team as a Senior Training Officer based in Tema, Ghana. This is a full-time position in the Engineering sector.

Major Functions

Develop comprehensive training programs for technical apprentices, skills development trainees, and interns in Metal Machining, Welding, and Fabrication
Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and trainees

Required Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification
Proven experience in training and development, preferably in a technical or industrial setting
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), American International Standards Institution (ANSI), and ISO 45001
