## Title: Senior Lecturer / Professor – Islamic University of Ghana

About the Position

The Islamic University of Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for Senior Lecturer / Professor positions across the following graduate and undergraduate programmes:

Academic Programs

  • Business Administration: Accounting, Banking and Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management (HRM)
  • Communication Studies: Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations
  • Education and Psychology: Early Childhood Education, Guidance and Counselling, English Language Education
  • Science and Technology: Critical Nursing & Midwifery, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security, Data Science, Digital Media & Communication Design

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching undergraduate and post-graduate courses
  • Design and development of curriculum
  • Assessments and examinations
  • Project work supervision
  • Industrial attachment and internships supervision
  • Student mentoring and counselling
  • Research, development and innovation
  • Publications
  • Participation in administration and institutional governance
  • Consulting and provision of technology support to enterprises and extension services
  • Serving on committees

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, or Professor qualification in any of the subject areas listed above
  • Applicants with a terminal degree in any of the subject areas, with at least 2 published research articles, may be employed as Lecturers

  • Applications from retired Senior Lecturers, Associate Professors and Professors are welcome
  • Candidates seeking part-time lecturing positions may also apply
