Senior Financial Accounting Manager at African Cashew Alliance (ACA)

About the Position

The Senior Financial Accounting Manager will establish a robust financial and administrative framework for the African Cashew Alliance (ACA). This role is essential in ensuring strong internal controls, transparency, and compliance with donor and international standards while delivering timely and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ACA's finance function and maintain sound financial systems
• Develop strategies for fundraising and financial sustainability
• Manage donor compliance and reporting, with particular expertise in GIZ requirements
• Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions and donors
• Develop financial policies, manuals, and capacity-building programs
• Ensure adherence to internal, donor, and international standards

Required Qualifications and Experience

• ACCA Level 3 or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 7 years of senior-level financial management experience in the NGO or private sector
• Proven track record in fundraising and donor engagement
• Expertise in grant management, financial reporting, and compliance
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience with GIZ-funded projects is an asset
