Our client is the leading pharmaceutical company in Ghana, seeking a hands-on Security Supervisor to be based in the Accra offices, overseeing day-to-day operations in Tema.

• Position: Security Supervisor
• Location: Accra, Greater Accra, Ghana
• Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Take proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment for staff and visitors
• Provide specialized security and monitor access to limited and restricted areas such as cold storage rooms and inventory areas
• Keep all keys safe, secure, and confidential
• Conduct and/or supervise searches of vehicles, bodies, bags, and containers of finished products, raw materials, tools, and scrap materials to prevent unlawful removal from the site
• Assist in implementing security measures for all assigned facilities
• Lead emergency evacuation procedures for staff and visitors
• Promptly report all incidents and crimes (actual, suspected, and attempted) to the head of security
• Seize all items detected during searches or spot checks and apprehend perpetrators
• Write comprehensive reports and document all facts and evidence

Required Qualifications and Experience

• High school qualification or equivalent
• Formal qualification in security training
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar security supervisory role
