About the Role
A reputable beverage company in the Greater Accra Region is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop its Sales Team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing sales team while driving revenue growth, motivating staff to generate leads, building strong client relationships, and ensuring customer needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Design and implement strategic sales plans that expand the company's customer base and strengthen market presence
- Conduct market studies to provide detailed information on market needs, size, and growth potential in target markets
- Develop policies and strategies for retaining existing clients and improving their sales capabilities and market share
- Create and execute plans for promotion, advertising, and sales offers
Required Skills & Competencies
- Successful previous experience as a Sales Manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closure
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all organizational levels
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
- 5-7 years of experience in sales management with experience in the beverage industry
