## Title: Resident Medical Officer

Position Overview

A newly built hospital in the GA South District is seeking a Resident Medical Officer. The successful applicant will reside within the hospital premises, perform on-call duties, and provide care to inpatients.

Key Responsibilities

Reside within the hospital premises and perform on-call duties
Attend to inpatients and provide medical care
Perform minor surgical interventions
Perform obstetric and gynaecological interventions
Apply referral and gatekeeper systems of healthcare delivery

Required Qualifications & Experience

Permanent registration with the Medical and Dental Council in good standing
Minimum of 3 years post-housemanship experience
Ability to perform minor surgical and obstetric/gynaecological interventions
Proficiency with referral and gatekeeper systems of healthcare delivery
Computer literacy

Required Skills & Attributes

Strong communication and listening skills
Professional demeanor and reliability

Tuba & Kasoa, Accra, Ghana. Applicants living in or around Tuba, Kasoa and its environs may have an advantage.
