The University of Ghana's College of Education has established the Legon Centre for Education Research and Policy (LCERP). The Centre is committed to advancing participatory research and advocacy for excellence in education, with a vision to be recognized for providing reliable research output, creating a credible platform for advocacy, and promoting excellence in capacity building.

Position Overview

The College of Education invites applications from qualified professionals for appointment as Research Fellows in the Legon Centre for Education Research and Policy. This is a full-time position, effective immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively promote the mission and functions of LCERP
• Develop detailed work plans for research activities, including schedules for proposals and grant submissions
• Conduct individual research or collaborate in wider research and scholarly activities to enhance the Centre's profile
• Proactively collaborate with team members on Centre initiatives

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Education, Economics, Development Studies, or a related social science discipline
• Strong quantitative background (preferred)
• Proficiency in statistical software packages for data management (e.g., STATA, SPSS)
