Project Manager – Transforming Action for Gender Equality (TAGE) at ActionAid Ghana

About the Role

ActionAid Ghana seeks to engage a highly motivated individual to manage the Transformative Action for Gender Equality (TAGE) project. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overall management, accountability, and coordination of this initiative in line with donor contract requirements. You will lead efforts aimed at improving gender equality and achieving long-term reduction in the prevalence of violence against women and girls across generations in Ghana.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with international, national, and local partners, stakeholders, and collaborators to ensure project outcomes influence inter-agency cooperation on transformative actions for gender equality
• Develop annual critical pathways to ensure project implementation leads to expected outcomes consistent with ActionAid Ghana's Country Strategy Plan (CSP) Priorities and Key Result Areas
• Develop comprehensive project strategies to enhance effective implementation toward achievement of stated project results
• Work closely with National and Regional Programmes and Advocacy Teams to mainstream project learnings into programme work before project completion
• Anticipate project risks and implement mitigation measures
• Coordinate project activities and liaise with relevant Ministries, agencies, local partners, communities, project beneficiaries, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery and attainment of stated results
• Develop Terms of Reference, concept notes, and briefs for project research, reviews, and evaluation exercises
• Facilitate periodic reviews, reflections, and planning sessions
