Position Overview

This is a crucial role for our Western Africa business. You will initiate, plan, coordinate, execute, control, and ensure timely commissioning and closure of projects at our plant in a safe and cost-efficient manner. You will become the lead for new plant installations (both in-house and external) and report directly to the Plant Manager, Western Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete project requirements from conception to completion, including yearly CAPEX requirements, documentation, and approval initiation
• Develop project scope (FEED) and ensure definite project definition, design, and coordination
• Participate in project budgeting activities
• Monitor and supervise all project constructions and maintain status reports
• Prepare project governance reports and tender documents for pre-bid selection
• Coordinate with project design institutes and project teams on design and implementation
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Address and solve project-related problems effectively
• Follow up on vendor contracts and payments according to signed agreements
• Ensure all site work safety rules and regulations are strictly observed
• Communicate project concerns and constraints to stakeholders in a timely manner
