About Our Africa Operations

Newmont's Africa Operations manages two gold mining operations in Ghana: the Ahafo Mine located in the Brong-Ahafo region and the Akyem Mine located in the Eastern region. The operations also maintain near-mine exploration and development focus in Ghana to annually replace gold reserves, and operate early-stage exploration programs in Ethiopia and Morocco.

• Coordinate and manage the activities of the Process Plant Operations team
• Oversee operation of the Ahafo North process plant
