Job Title: Pre-School/ Nursery/ Primary/ JHS Teachers/ Subject Teachers (Social Studies,Career Technology, Creative Arts, French, Asante Twi etc.)
Job Description:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Pre-School/ Nursery/ Primary/ JHS Teachers/ Subject Teachers (Social Studies,Career Technology, Creative Arts, French, Asante Twi, etc.) to join our school. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for providing quality education and fostering a positive learning environment for learners/ students. This role requires excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine interest in the holistic development
of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Delivery:
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with the Ghanaian school and British Curriculum.
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance student understanding and participation.
- Regularly assess and evaluate student progress using appropriate assessment tools and techniques.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and their parents/guardians on academic performance and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and assessment results.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Establish and enforce classroom rules and behaviour expectations to ensure a positive and disciplined atmosphere.
- Manage student behaviour effectively and implement appropriate disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Foster strong relationships with parents/guardians, keeping them informed about student progress, achievements, and areas requiring attention.
- Collaborate with colleagues, school administrators, and support staff to promote effective teamwork and a positive school culture.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences, school events, and meetings as required.
- Bachelor’s degree/ Diplomat in Education or a relevant field.
- Teaching certification or qualification from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience teaching primary school students, preferably in a similar educational setting.
- Excellent knowledge of the Ghanaian primary school, British curriculum and teaching methodologies.
