Pool Maintenance Officer at University of Ghana

Position Overview

The University of Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for a Pool Maintenance Officer position within the Sports Directorate.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance of the University of Ghana swimming pool
• Test, balance, and apply swimming pool chemicals to pool water
• Operate and maintain the filtration system
• Treat and vacuum the swimming pool
• Conduct cleaning and general maintenance activities

Required Qualifications

• SSCE/WASSCE/JHS Certificate
• Valid Lifeguard Certificate from a recognised institution
• Knowledge of various swimming pool chemicals and their application processes
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in pool maintenance
