About the Role

MTN Ghana is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our Centre of Excellence (COE) function. This role is critical as we enter a new phase focused on operational and commercial excellence. You will translate customer requirements into working solutions while navigating a rapidly evolving ICT environment and highly regulated market.

Job Context

MTN is prioritizing operational and commercial excellence amid increasing competitive intensity. The Solutions Architect will support the COE function in addressing:

• Rapidly changing ICT environment
• Achievement of top quartile operating efficiency and effectiveness through scale and common processes
• Driving growth through business intelligence and standardization
• Management of customer and supplier expectations
• Dynamic economic, regulatory, and legal environments
• Complex client expectations and demands
• Compliance with industry standards in a highly regulated environment
• OEM Partner relationships critical to business success

Key Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into working solutions
• Contribute to business cases to assess costs, risks, and benefits of proposed solutions
• Follow all relevant steering committee and approval practices for customer solutions
• Obtain business approval through appropriate forums for new innovations and customer-specific solutions
• Deliver customer proofs of concept (POCs) with clear and agreed testing criteria
• Mentor junior architects on key deal opportunities
• Apply commercial acumen to deliver solutions aligned with customer budgets
• Understand customer challenges and financial parameters to develop competitive proposals
• Provide input to strategic technology investment decisions and enterprise architecture development
