Marketing/Procurement Officer at Electrofax Engineering Services (GH) LTD

About the Role

Electrofax Engineering Services (GH) LTD is seeking a competent and proactive Marketing/Procurement Officer to support operations in Ghana. The ideal candidate will design and implement complex industrial, commercial, and domestic procurement systems, manage product specifications, and source orders both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform product estimation, pricing, documentation, and timescale planning
• Manage the purchase of products and services for the organization
• Ensure all products and services meet high quality standards regardless of price
• Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing
• Manage inventory of products and services
• Work with the General Manager to ensure continuous improvement and meet client requests and targets
• Maintain comprehensive department records including supplier qualifications, delivery times, capabilities, and product information
• Identify potential suppliers and negotiate favorable terms for the company
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Analyze supplier price proposals and company financial reports before price negotiation
• Monitor contract compliance and make necessary adjustments to existing agreements
• Maintain up-to-date inventory records and monitor purchased items

Required Qualifications

• Licensed professional marketing/procurement officer
• Extensive experience as a Marketing/Procurement Officer
• Expert negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and financial reporting abilities
• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships
