Position Overview

A reputable rural bank in the Bono East Region of Ghana invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of Marketing Officer.

Job Purpose

The Marketing Officer shall be responsible for the planning, management, and execution of all marketing initiatives and day-to-day marketing functions of the bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and establish the Marketing Department
• Plan, manage, and execute all marketing initiatives and day-to-day marketing functions
• Lead the team to develop and implement marketing programs aligned with the bank's strategic objectives
• Direct, supervise, and coordinate marketing staff
• Collaborate with the management team to develop targeted marketing activities that support brand and organizational goals
• Facilitate, lead, and manage new product development processes to create attractive, suitable, and market-responsive products
• Review the performance of the bank's products and services on a monthly basis
• Execute targeted marketing campaigns, including development and coordination of advertising (traditional and digital), agency signage, and website content
• Ensure all advertising meets compliance requirements and marketing standards
• Update and maintain the bank's website with relevant, current information to assist customers and the public with their financial needs
• Conduct periodic market surveys to assess consumer preferences and market dynamics
• Conduct regular feedback exercises to monitor customer satisfaction
