Purpose

The Marketing and Communications Manager will oversee all internal and external marketing and communication activities of the institution.

Major Responsibilities

Communications and Marketing (70%)

• Develop and implement flexible, result-oriented communications strategies for both internal and external communications
• Generate ideas and create content for social media and digital channels that is easily understandable and engaging for readers
• Write and edit programme participant and client stories, scripts for videos, blogs, case studies, factsheets, capacity statements, and annual reports
• Regularly monitor BGSL's web pages and sections to identify information requiring updates, and collaborate with the BI Microfinance Communications team
• Conceive and implement media strategies to enhance BGSL's positioning within the local media landscape
• Conceptualise and organize special events for BGSL to support advocacy initiatives and reach core audiences
• Provide creative planning and execution support to develop social and behavioral change materials in coordination with internal and external design teams, product, impact, and social performance experts
• Support internal communications by working closely with cross-functional departments to execute campaigns that boost employee morale, loyalty, and a values-driven culture
• Identify media and campaign opportunities and collaborate with the wider BRAC international communications team to improve overall outreach and visibility efforts while ensuring brand consistency
