Manager, Information & Cyber Security Risk at MTN Ghana

About the Role

We are seeking a Manager, Information & Cyber Security Risk to establish and implement adaptable Information Security and Cyber Risk Management standards, frameworks, and solutions aligned with Group frameworks, policies, and procedures. This role responds to current and future Information Security Risk Management landscapes while safeguarding organizational assets and stakeholder interests.

Primary Responsibilities

• Effectively identify, protect, detect, respond to, and recover from security risk exposures of both internal and external nature
• Introduce and monitor defensive safeguards against strategic, operational, compliance, liquidity, product, market, political, economic, and reputational risks
• Ensure business units take ownership in managing their security risks and safeguarding MTN Ghana's information assets
• Identify and manage all threats to the achievement of overall strategic objectives
• Enhance MTN Ghana's reputational position as a leading network through strong security practices
• Manage customer and supplier expectations regarding security initiatives

The Manager will operate effectively within the following environments:

• Evolving industry ecosystems relating to emerging threats and vulnerabilities
• Complex compliance and regulatory landscapes, including General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
• New imperatives concerning data privacy, security, and digital trust partnerships
• Rapid adoption of new routes to innovation and emerging technologies
• Volatile macroeconomic and political environments within the operating company and region
• Business intelligence initiatives to maximize business impact through risk identification and management
