Manager, API & New Business at MoMo from MTN

About the Role

The Manager – API & New Business is designed for a self-driven, tech-savvy individual with deep understanding of platform management from a technology perspective and experience in Industry 4.0. This role involves orchestrating a variety of stakeholders in accordance with the MoMo from MTN platform and API business model to achieve shared vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage external developer communities and oversee API roadmap execution, including releases, configurations, usage and performance tracking
• Support the Senior Manager in managing new business verticals such as Digital Currency, Digital Banking, Open Banking and other future opportunities
• Manage Fintech innovation from MoMo from MTN partners including MNOs Fintech, FSPs, Governments and other disruptive innovation initiatives
• Drive value co-creation and revenue generation through robust partnerships
• Keep customer experience top of mind in all product design decisions
• Manage contract employees and performance-driven teams
• Engage with media and manage brand reputation
• Explore non-traditional revenue streams requiring complex interpretation and structuring
