Position Overview

KCM Limited, located in Kumasi, Ghana, is seeking a qualified Maintenance Manager to oversee all installations, repair, and upkeep operations. The successful candidate will ensure team members have the necessary physical resources to complete their duties efficiently and within budget.

Job Purpose

To oversee all installations, repair, and upkeep operations of the markets and ensure team members have the best physical resources available to complete their duties according to budget.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance
• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
• Carry out inspections of markets to identify and resolve issues
• Check electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
• Maintain and manage highly automated equipment
• Develop and implement best practices, standards, and procedures in all maintenance functionalities

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of ten (10) years of working experience
• Experience in maintenance of large enterprises such as markets, malls, universities, hotels, or large shopping centers
• Knowledge of construction, electrical systems, mechanics, air conditioning, telephony, networks, and maintenance

Required Skills

• Solid understanding of plumbing and electrical systems, carpentry, and other trades
• Well-versed in all maintenance processes and health and safety regulations
• Aptitude for administrative tasks such as reporting and budgeting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
