Lecturers/Teaching Staff at Darda Health Pre-University Ltd

Position Overview

Reports to: Director

We are seeking qualified lecturers and teaching staff to educate students at the pre-tertiary (secondary) level. In this role, you will motivate students to retake weak or failed SHS subjects while introducing them to pre-health degree curricula. You will work with students preparing for the West African Senior High School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) and diploma courses in business-related fields.

Main Responsibilities

• Teach at least three of the following subjects: Mathematics, Integrated Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Management in Living, Communication Skills, English Language, Social Studies, History, CRS, Government, and GKA
• Prepare students for West African Senior High School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE)
• Develop course outlines and teach based on WAEC and GES (Ghana Education Service) syllabi for secondary and business diploma courses in business administration, human resources, accounting, marketing, and office practice
• Conduct student assessments and maintain detailed records
• Evaluate trainees' performance each semester through assignments, quizzes, and tests
• Provide counseling and organize micro-teaching sessions for students needing additional support
• Plan and implement remedial curricula activities for referred trainees

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in your area of interest
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Technological agility and willingness to continue learning
• Strong commitment to team collaboration focused on student engagement, success, and well-being
• High level of maturity, confidentiality, and integrity in all professional matters
