Position Overview

This vacancy presents a chance to join a leading organization in the water, sanitation, and hygiene sector. You will play a key role in managing projects and supporting community development in the Ahafo Region.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Undertake project management with partners
• Undertake field-level activities of projects in the Ahafo Region
• Support research and studies
• Support learning and knowledge management at district and regional levels through District and Regional Learning Alliance Platforms
• Submit quality and timely reports on project implementation
• Support business development and fundraising activities
• Submit quality and timely reports for IRC reporting
• Manage the District Hub office

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Good basic knowledge and understanding of the main concepts and trends in the water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) sector
• Relevant experience in research (design, data analysis, and report writing) and policy analysis
• Demonstrated experience in learning and knowledge management and networking
• Proven field work coordination experience
• Fluency in English and preferably one local language, with good writing skills
• Willingness to work in a district and travel nationally and internationally
• Experience working in a district (added advantage)
• Understanding of project management (added advantage)
• Additional qualifications (added advantage)

Contract Details

The candidate will initially be offered a one-year contract with a six-month probation period. The contract is renewable subject to good performance.
